Olga, we have seen your website and it is very clear on your story, but still, we would like to go over some questions, if you don’t mind. Could you share with us some information about your family life? Were you born here in Curaçao? I was born in Curaçao. At 10 years old, I started developing obesity and sugar addiction. Even though I was tall for my age, I weighted almost 200 pounds. I discovered that we had weight problems in the family. My grandfather Angel Job, died when he was just 60 years old weighing 365 pounds. During my teenage years, I developed a sugar addiction and no one was able to help me. I was still dealing with the challenge of gaining and losing weight, not being balanced, and not being fulfilled with myself. I had a lot of health problems, like migraines, stomach problems, digestive problems, my hormones were mixed up. In early adult life, I was diagnosed with cancer cells on my cervix, I was emotionally unstable. So this started triggering my interest in Wellness. That is when I started to learn more about spirituality in general, meditation, self-love, law of attraction, and personal development. I started reading books, going to seminars, started juicing, started eating plant-based foods. I slowly started switching from a lacking mentality to an abundant mentality. I started adding value to my life based on plant-based and natural holistic nutrition foods. I experimented with my body and it was only then when I started to get balance. I learned about cleansing, detoxing, fasting, and finding fulfillment in holistic living in general, and having a better relationship with foods. I developed a deeper spiritual connection with myself, with earth and nature. That helped me heal completely from all the issues I had, naturally. As I healed, I started helping others and my friends and started coaching. That is when I discovered my gift and passion for wellness and coaching. All this prepared me to open my wellness practice at the right time.

How supportive were your parents in letting you become who you are right now?
My parents were and are very important to me. I am very family-oriented, they come first.

Anything else of your family life?
I have a grandmother that is 96 years old and my other grandmother is 91 old year. I come from a big family from my mother’s side. Most of them live in Curaçao and the other half live in Holland. I love and honor both my parents, my sister Fiona Job and all the rest of my family. My lovely mother and my role model, Ilse de Windt inspired me to live a healthy lifestyle since childhood while I struggled with my weight and my father, Mocky Job inspired me to become a public speaker and influencer.

Could you share something about your educational background and your experience?
When I was 18 years old, I left Curaçao to go to the USA to study and graduated with a Master degree in Business Administration with a focus on Management, Marketing, and International Business. I lived 16 years in South Florida, mainly Miami before I decided to live as a digital nomad. I earned a certification in Integrative Nutrition and Holistic Wellness Coaching. I worked for one of the top three Insurance companies in the USA. I quickly got promoted and was responsible for up to 130 employees as a claims’ supervisor. Thereafter, I became an enterprise process analyst and required me to travel often. While traveling for work often, I soon discovered my passion for traveling while working and made me become a digital traveling nomad entrepreneur. After quitting my corporate job, I moved to Curaçao for 6 months and went all out on the radio, tv and started giving workshops in Curaçao, Holland, Sweden and other parts of the world.

How did you end up doing this as you have also worked on the corporate level and in entrepreneurship now as a serial entrepreneur and – as you are very young – how have gone through so many diverse experiences?
I studied everything that I could study during these times. My previous corporate job required me to work between 60 to 70 hours a week with only two weeks of vacation per year. This was a very stressful period for me. I worked hard and did my best but I wasn’t completely fulfilled with a job that wasn’t completing my true purpose. I learned to honor the job, because I knew it would attract new opportunities my way. I knew that being in alignment would’ve helped me find my way towards my purpose, and so it did. I am very thankful for what I have learned here because it gave me the tools I needed to start running my own online wellness businesses. Over time, I continued studying with different wellness & holistic mentors as I developed my nomadic lifestyle. In the last 6 years as a digital nomad I traveled and lived in about 25 countries in Europe for about 4 years and in Asia I traveled to 11 countries, learning about different cultures, foods, wellness, herbs, nutrition, mindset, studied with top herbal doctors & monks, taking and hosting cooking classes and courses in herbalism in the Himalayas. Moreover, I have also visited about 19 countries in North and South America continent. I am currently in Mexico, learning from the Mayan & Ancient Mexican culture, herbs and medicines while I specialize myself online in herbalism mainly superfoods, superherbs, and superflowers.

I am very excited to share that I was recently hired by my former health coaching school where I graduated from, Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), as a part time Coaching Circle Coach for online health coaching training classes. IIN school is a world-renowned and largest nutrition school in the world, with a monthly audience of 2 million+ wellness seekers, over 110,000 graduates in over 175 countries worldwide, IIN explores more than 100 different dietary theories. It is known for its online Health Coach Training Programs and other leading-edge programs on the most current and important topics in health and wellness.

We know you are a MBA graduate, CHC Certified Health (wellness) Coach, INHC Integrated Nutrition Health Coach professional, and we have taken notice that you have studied with an impressive list of well-known experts on health and wellness. How are you dealing with your time management as you travel the world, live abroad, and render your coaching services online in different time zones?
It takes planning, and prioritizing because I have a lot of things on my ‘to-do’ list. It is all about time management, setting priorities, finding balance, and working with my intuition. It is also important to have me-time.

What is your BIG WHY or driving motivation to be who you are right now?
I enjoy making an impact to humanity by helping to increase the frequency through holistic nutrition, detoxing, and enlightenment. By helping others, I am helping myself too.

“We have big plans and big ambitions to finally make Curaçao a wellness island.”

We have taken notice that you offer a myriad of wellness products and services to the world and as a serial entrepreneur do you have any specific plans, ambitions towards the development of the wellness sector on the island?

I have already been working for the past 6 years to help develop Curaçao as a wellness island with Rudolf de Wit and many more in Curaçao in the wellness sector. We have big plans and big ambitions to finally make Curaçao a wellness island, because of Curaçao’s geographical position, vortex energy, its’ history, and its’ name.

What are your plans for the coming years and when do you consider that you have been successful or more successful in your personal and business/professional life, let us say 5 years from now?
I would like to see Curaçao become more developed in the wellness sector. I look forward in starting my personal wellness retreats around the world and also in Curaçao. I plan to continue to travel around the world, develop and expand myself spiritually, emotionally, and professionally in general, and help others do the same.

What are the challenges that you are dealing with? And how are you dealing with these different challenges you confront?
The world’s crisis has slowed us down in creating face-to-face events, but it has helped me to connect more with myself. Slowing down has helped me find more self-fulfillment by going deeper within. Instead of quantity, I started focusing more on quality.

Do you use your inner voice to evaluate when dilemmas show up? How does that work for you?
I remind myself daily who I am, who we truly are. We are powerful creators and we can achieve anything we want if we put our minds and spirits to it. I also constantly remember the power of the divine, the Universe and try my best to let go of the negative thoughts whenever possible and listen more to my inner voice.

How are you trying also to keep up with your knowledge and skills levels?
I am always involved in a course, or in certification programs. I seek my personal mentors for advise, and attend ongoing courses. I read books, and attend seminars regularly. I travel full time which also helps me to develop myself as a person.

What are your strengths?
I don’t give up and I keep going until I reach what I want, but I have also learned to let go, to allow what is best to show up at the right time and become more “present”.

Do you have hobbies or interests that you are also passionate about?
I enjoy crossfit, yoga, meditation, traveling, cooking, art, creativity, dancing, energy and spiritual work, holistic and plant medicine ceremonies as well as sound healing.

If you as Olga would meet a stranger on the bus (let say in Nepal or New York) and they would ask you to introduce yourself, what would you answer?
I always smile and try to connect with the person first. Then I introduce myself as Olga and I share that I dedicate my life to help others find themselves through wellness coaching, holistic nutrition, meditation, detoxing and spiritual practices.

How would you describe Olga in one word or one sentence?
A true light being, but we all are, and I have recognized and honored this in myself.

Who are the persons that have inspired you the most in your life/ career?
My personal mentors who truly believe in me, David Wolfe (public figure, best selling author and nutritionist), Dr. Group (public figure, world renown medical holistic doctor), the monks and holistic doctors I met in Europe, Asia and Mexico. My family especially my parents, my grandmothers, my aunts and uncles, as well as my clients who inspired me daily, especially my detox community. Also, Rudolf de Wit, Suzy Römer and Carl Camelia are all amazing people who I love and admire as they all inspire me every day. Also all my close friends and other business partners, who cheer me daily, and all my loved ones (you know who you are).

What is a trait that is still a work in progress?
Organizing and prioritizing myself to upscale.

What was a defining moment, at least one, in your life? You can mention more if you would like.
My six months in Asia backpacking on a solo trip. My backpack was the only thing I carried along with me, as a minimalist where “less is more”. It helped me to humble myself, learn from all types of lifestyles, cultures, and mindsets and helped me see the world differently.

Where do you want to be 10 years from now with your career?
Continue to inspire more people around the world and also of course see Curaçao grow stronger especially in the area of wellness.

What would you want your Loved Ones, family, friends, and others to say about you let’s say 20 years from now?
That I did my best to help myself, the world, and as many people that I could. This is my thank you and promise towards the Universe. My life changed so much that I dedicate it to help others find themselves, heal and feel better. That they are proud of me.

What makes you stay optimistic about the future of Curaçao as we are in the middle of a worldwide pandemic, recession, and in the middle of growing environmental challenges because of the global warming consequences?
What Curaçao stands for, its’ name, its’ history, its’ geographical position within the powerful vortex energies gives Curaçao a unique opportunity in the wellness and health sector in the world.

Is there anything else that you would like to add?
I want to remind everyone, not to forget how powerful you are. That regardless of what happens in your life, keep trusting the process and go with the flow. Ask, let go and trust the process completely. Every thing is happening for you, not to you.
